Piano Lessons that Kids Love!
Parents fear their kids will think piano lessons are boring and tedious.
I made it my personal mission to keep kids captivated, motivated and engaged with piano lessons.
Kids instinctively love music - it's a natural and big part of their lives. However.... Kids nowadays have so much going on – from school, sports, homework, chores, etc. - the last thing wanted or needed is another thing to add on to an already overburdened “to do” list. Unfortunately, piano lessons often get lumped under the heading of “more homework.” Many adults tell me that they remember their childhood piano lessons as being that way and say they quit because of the dreadful, tedious practicing or that it was just too hard. Interestingly, all of these adults, without fail, tell me they wish they hadn't quit piano lessons.
What if piano lessons weren’t dull and tedious? What if practicing wasn’t just “more homework?” By encouraging exploration, imagination and giving them tools for success, I help students discover just how fun learning piano can be.
When creating my own piano lesson program, I put great thought and effort to create lessons that were captivating, engaging and creative. My students:
Many adults tell me my program is nothing like what they endured, they wish they had taken lessons from me, they are so glad their children do, and they describe how much their kids love coming to their lessons at Marin Piano Studio - that their children, literally, run into the studio each week!
